As restaurateur, hotelier and entertainment impresario, Stanley has been providing his guests and patrons with world-class hospitality for nearly 35 years. His business ventures include Il Fornaio and Stars restaurants throughout California and Asia, The Hapuku Lodge and Tree Houses on the South Island of New Zealand and Teatro ZinZanni, San Francisco where as Managing Partner he was instrumental in establishing and operating that city’s highly acclaimed Dinner Circus Venue. His areas of expertise include real estate development; architectural and interior design; site development and construction supervision; marketing, sales, public relations and brand development; and international tourism sales and marketing.
Charles is a sixth generation New Orleanian and member of a family rich with visual artists. He danced professionally for ten years with the Houston Ballet, ODC San Francisco and Bela Lewitzy in Los Angeles. After receiving his MFA with honors from John F. Kennedy University in 2000, Charles went on to exhibit his work internationally. His work has been featured at the Burning Man Arts Festival. His sculptural works can be found as part of the permanent collections of the US Embassy in Thailand and the Waitakaruru Sculpture Park in New Zealand. Charles art directed the dynamic branding and visual advertising campaigns for Teatro ZinZanni in San Francisco, California.
Gypsy is co-founder and co-artistic director of the Montreal circus collective, Les 7 doigts de la main which has toured shows internationally since 2002. The company was featured in the Opening Ceremonies of the Sochi Olympics, toured the U.S. in 2015 with their original production, Sequence 8 and was part of the creative team for the New York City smash hit Queen of the Night. Gypsy is co-director of the internationally acclaimed show, Traces which was featured on America’s Got Talent. She co-choreographed the 4 time Tony winning Broadway musical Pippin for which she won a Drama Desk and an Outer Critic Circle Award in 2014. In January, 2015, she was honored with the Evolving Circus Award in New York City, presented by Circus Now.
Charlie Dennard is an American keyboardist, composer, arranger and recording artist. Charlie moved to New Orleans in 1996. As a piano student of the legendary Ellis Marsallis, he received his Masters of Music: Jazz Studies at the University of New Orleans in 1998. In 2002 Charlie ran off with the circus where he toured internationally as a musician, bandleader and most recently Musical Director for the Cirque du Soleil touring show “Totem.”
DEBRA BEAVER BAUER
Ms. Bauer began her theatrical career as a Performer, Creator, Designer and Writer for The Angels of Light – an outrageous socio-political theatre company that created extravagantly original musical productions that took the San Francisco Bay Area by storm in the 1970’s. As a Costume Designer she has seen her work grace the stages of The Bay Area, Washington DC and New York City. She designed her first Circus in Tokyo featuring members of The Moscow Circus. For eight seasons she designed costumes for The Brian Boitano Skating Spectacular on NBC. Beaver was once again seduced by the circus when in 2000 she became the Resident Designer at Teatro ZinZanni in San Francisco and Palazzo in Berlin.
